Company Law Courses : South African Company Law Short Course

The Advanced Short Course in South African Company Law and Company Law II is a postgraduate certificate course that will give timeous attention to key aspects of the new legislation and its integration into the existing company law environment. The Company Law course is ideal for legal practitioners, corporate legal advisers, executives, government and all others whose activities bring them in touch with company law and corporate governance.
Course attendees will be exposed to the following topics:
  • The constitution of a company including ultra vires, the abolition of constructive notice and special conditions
  • Capital Maintenance Rules
  • Capital structures: shares, debentures and other instruments
  • Corporate finance

Course Dates & Duration:
This is a semester-long course where participants attend lectures on a Saturday morning from 08:30 to 10:00 during the period 11 February to 24 May 2013.
Course Cost:
The course fee is R8,300.
A tertiary qualification is a pre-requisite for the course.
